There are now resources supporting Job Futures: a website for Job Futures (https://jobfutures.co) and an iOS app and web interface for employers to create Job Futures.
In the apps, there is an interactive timeline to visually show how a Job Future works through time. Like with other Futures (commodities and capital), there is risk and uncertainty – two of them include a maturation date and an enrollment number. Predicting future jobs is challenging due to the cyclical nature of job sourcing and hiring.
Keep in mind, a primary goal of Job Futures is to empower post secondary students to acquire the skills for jobs (filling gaps in what skills an employer demands with those candidates possess), not an absolute guarantee of a job; this is represented as the percent chance of a Job Future maturing.
Regardless, Job Futures might improve the job contingency of post secondary graduates.
We are looking for employers to create Job Futures for 2025 and 2026 jobs. Creating a Job Future is free and quick to do. Contact us for a free consultation or to share your thoughts: partner@jobfutures.co
