Our team would like to announce a December 2024 Product Release of our platform. Each year, we summarize our progress in development, interfaces, and interpretetations and future plans. This year the theme is Solving Post Secondary Students Being Underemployed or Unemployed as we introduce Job Futures. The main topics include:
- Job Futures Launch (iOS, Android, Website)
- 200 actual, live Job Label Templates (based on DOL job titles)
- New, Integrated Apps for Learning Labels and Skills Based Approach
In speaking with a few companies the last eight months, I fielded a number of questions regarding Job Futures:
We post current jobs on our website or Indeed. How would Job Futures fit?
For a Job Future, think of posting a job on your website (what you do) after the Job Future matures. In a addition, creating a Job Future defines and quantifies the job requirements and first year experience in a standarized way. Keep in mind, the primary goal of a Job Future is to provide targets for your candidate pool while they are learning, not graduating.
Our hiring process is lengthly. How do I set the maturation period of a Job Future?
Think of a Job Future as being part of the hiring process (whether it augments or replaces your hiring process). Job Futures should improve the candidate pool by empowering them to prepare.
Job Futures should improve not only job sourcing, but also training, managerial accounting, and workforce development. There should also be value in predicting skills, Skill Points, and jobs.
The release video will include a Q&A, product demos with use cases, a CTA and ways to connect with us. If you would like to answer one of your questions, please emails us at: release questions. We are also actively pursuing researchers and partners.
